John Lewis. Yeah, to get in to the store, you have to walk past all the cosmetics, but not only that, but the assistants are putting makeup on women. I keep wondering, what would they think if I asked them to 'do me', would I look beautiful like the women in the posters ? Would the think there's something wrong ?
Would it be like the first time I purchased lingerie, and the girl said 'you know its for women don't you, it doesn't come in men's sizes!'. I said I hoped that the assistant is just as helpful when your boyfriend or husband is purchasing you some lingerie. Then again that was ... 25 years ago...
